When the big picture is overwhelming, it helps to focus on one small piece at a time. It is a healing process for grief. A place to hold precious memories of loved ones and life events. And it's recycling at its best! Hope you enjoy it. Thanks to the elder ladies of Ocracoke who taught me how to quilt
many years ago.

Marty Morgan (Morgan House Music Publishing) and Marcy Brenner started this song in session at Deepwater Theater, Ocracoke, NC and when Marty had to catch the ferry back to Nashville, TN, Marcy rode it with him (2.5 hours) and they worked on the lyric. On the return ferry back to the island, Marcy finished up the lyric and wrote the music, finishing it up. I enjoy sharing it around Mother's Day as it's about my mother, Charlotte and her kitchen table.
