COYOTE are Marcy Brenner and Lou Castro.
Residents of Ocracoke Island, NC for over 20 years, they have moved to a new habitat in Merritt Island, FL where they continue to invite you into their home virtually (and their “space coast” backyard soon) for concerts at Coyote Music Den.
Their music is home made and lightening storm hot; unexpected, honest, masterful, heartfelt, authentic. Throw a rock at a genre and you will hear it, with a Coyote twist, often with a special guest. No matter what, you'll be enchanted by the inevitable magic of an evening in with Coyote, wherever they are, and whomever is playing with them.
The soundtrack for the documentary film DEAD GIRL WALKING was written, recorded and published by Marcy Brenner & Lou Castro (MRB Publishing LLC ascap). Marcy is the subject of this film produced by filmmaker Ray Schmitt of Real Earth Productions.
Marcy and Lou are featured musicians in the Nicholas Sparks movie “Nights In Rodanthe" starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane. They are included in the CD soundtrack released in company with Emmylou Harris, Count Basie, Dinah Washington and The Dillards.
